Windows Notepad As Your Very Own Diary With Automatic Date and Time Stamp

Windows notepad has many useful features, here I will describe how to create a diary entailed with a date and time stamp using windows notepad. First, open a new, blank Notepad file. You can do this by going to the Start menu>Programs>Accessories>Notepad. Type in .LOG in capital letters in the first line then save and exit.

Launch the saved notepad and you will have your diary with date and time stamp included for a more organized diary or note taking.

Each time you launch the diary you will notice how a new date/time stamp entry is neatly placed on the body of the file. Each entry will appear below the previous one. Having this is a convenient and more organized way for your notes and diaries.
